The Last Remnant is the first installment of a new
role-playing game (RPG) franchise from Square Enix.
A single player adventure, now available on the PC,
The Last Remnant delivers breathtaking visuals, a
mysterious character-driven storyline reaching back
into thousands of years of game history, a brand
new combat system and massive battlefield action
where you'll be surrounded by countless foes and
friends alike. In ancient times, mysterious
artifacts referred to as Remnants were discovered
all over the world. People used these objects for
their awesome powers, a choice that eventually
began to cause a rift in the world's balance.
Equality was replaced by those who ruled and those
who were ruled over. War was inevitable. A thousand
years later is when this story begins. Rush lives
with his sister Irina on secluded Eulam Island, far
from the power struggles for Remnants that are
occurring back on the mainland. However, this
peaceful life is shattered when his sister is
suddenly kidnapped by a mysterious group of
soldiers right before his eyes. He immediately
sets off after them, unaware of the evils of the
outside world but determined to find his sister
at any cost.

Square Enix have managed to surprise the gaming world announcing
that their latest RPG, The Last Remnant will be released on PC systems before it gets a PS3 version. The game is scheduled to hit Japan on April 9 and there’s no word yet about the rest of the world, but it must be coming sooner rather than later.
Until then, you can make sure to purchase whatever hardware you need to meet the Last Remnant system requirements, as revealed by Square Enix themselves. Therefore, here are the recommended system specs:
